On January 27, 2026, an event on the topic: “Presentation of the online safeguarding course and web portal” took place at the Caritas Ukraine Kyiv office, with the participation of representatives from the Caritas Ukraine national office and local organizations, who joined in person and online.
The meeting began with an opening speech by the Director of the Network and Identity Directorate of Caritas Ukraine, Fr. Andriy Nahirnyak, who emphasized the importance of systemic development of the safeguarding direction within the network:
“The safeguarding system helps an organization act maturely and responsibly. It unites rules, practices, and values around the main principle – respect for human dignity. This is daily work with people and for people, requiring attentiveness, openness, and readiness to take responsibility for one’s decisions and actions.”
