On September 8, 2026, Caritas Ukraine joined the monthly meeting of the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Network in Ukraine.
The online meeting brought together members and observers of the PSEA Network to exchange relevant information, coordinate joint efforts, and discuss issues related to strengthening approaches to the prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse in the humanitarian sector.
For Caritas Ukraine, participation in the regular work of the Network is an opportunity to stay involved in current inter-agency processes in the PSEA sphere, exchange experience with other organizations, and utilize established practices and tools for the further development of the Safeguarding system.
Participation in the Network’s work also contributes to strengthening the collective responsibility of humanitarian organizations for creating an environment in which sexual exploitation and abuse are unacceptable, and people have access to safe reporting mechanisms and appropriate response.
