Caritas Ukraine became a member of the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Network

Caritas Ukraine officially became a member of the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Network in Ukraine.

The PSEA Network unites UN agencies, international and national humanitarian organizations around common standards and practices for preventing sexual exploitation and abuse and responding to potential cases. Its work includes, in particular, strengthening the capacity of organizations, coordinating mechanisms for reporting and referring survivors, raising community awareness, and developing a culture of zero tolerance for sexual exploitation and abuse.

For Caritas Ukraine, membership in the PSEA Network in Ukraine is another step in the systemic development of Safeguarding. It creates additional opportunities for exchanging experience, participating in joint training and coordination activities, using relevant inter-agency tools, and further improving internal prevention and response mechanisms.

By joining the PSEA Network in Ukraine, Caritas Ukraine continues to strengthen approaches aimed at protecting the dignity and safety of the people we work with.
