Online course “Safely about the Dangerous”
This online course is designed for specialists who work with or contact children: educators, social workers, psychologists, volunteers, and anyone who strives to become a safe adult for a child.
The course is based on the book «Safely about the Dangerous» and addresses the challenges children and adolescents face today (from bullying and cyber threats to complex interpersonal situations), and explains how an adult can react correctly and support them in various cases.
In the course, you will find:
- practical tools for working with sensitive topics;
- clear action algorithms for complex and risky situations;
- rules, warnings, and recommendations for protecting children’s rights and safety;
- examples of characters and situations through which it is easier to explain complex things in simple language.
The mission of this course from Caritas Ukraine is to help adults become those whom a child can trust. Those who support, do no harm, and know how to act correctly.
